Submit an Event Project
Winter-Spring 2027 Season
Winter-Spring 2027: our call for projects is open!
Until Monday, November 9, 2026, at 11:59 p.m., organizations and individuals can submit a project to be featured in La Maison du développement durable’s (MDD) winter-spring 2027 programming.
A platform for changemakers
MDD’s programming showcases the initiatives, knowledge, and voices driving the socio-ecological transition and supporting engagement. It brings together citizens, professionals, artists, and organizations around stimulating and accessible activities.
- Goal: Showcase meaningful projects.
- Approach: Provide a space for connection and outreach, at MDD and online.
- Collaborators: Organizations and individuals advancing the socio-ecological transition and valuing collaboration.
Two calls for projects in 2027: new this year
By popular demand, MDD is launching two separate calls for projects this year, because great ideas come up all year round!
This first call concerns the winter and spring season of our 2027 programming. At the end of this call, we will select between 35 and 40 projects. A second call will follow in early spring 2026 for summer and fall 2027.
Also new this year
MDD is revising its thematic classification to better guide the public toward the events that suit them. Two badge systems have been added to provide familiar markers:
- The “path” badge relates to the ideal level of knowledge to fully enjoy an activity.
- The “atmosphere” badge relates to the learning style and mood of an activity.

Who can submit a project?
MDD prioritizes projects carried out collectively by several organizations. We’re looking for proposals that:
- Align with one or more of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
- Engage and equip participants, while giving meaning to their socio-ecological transition journey.
- Foster community resilience.
- Help MDD reach a wider audience while benefiting all parties involved.
- Value collaboration.
- Can be offered for free or at low cost.
Why submit a project to MDD?
As a non-profit organization, MDD doesn’t offer payment, but does provide many benefits to the people and organizations it collaborates with.
We take care of promoting your event across our various channels. Our social media and newsletter together reach close to 60,000 subscriptions—a guarantee of visibility for your project! We also offer an eco-responsible, accessible, and attractive venue. Finally, we provide the equipment needed to hold virtual or hybrid events.
In short, MDD lets you bring your project to life free of charge—all thanks to the support of Hydro-Québec, main partner of our programming.
In 2025, our programming attracted over 7,200 participants in partnership with 67 collaborators.
